After ten wonderful years on South Beverly Drive, we’ve decided that it is time to say goodbye. Momed Beverly Hills was one of the first restaurants in LA to elevate Mediterranean cooking to the level belongs—among the major kitchens of world culture. We are happy to see so many other chefs recognize and popularize the flavors of this amazing region over the last decade.
During the last five years, our second location in Atwater Village has evolved into the restaurant we always envisioned Momed to be. With our inclusion in this year’s California Michelin Guide, it’s apparent to us that we should focus our energy on ensuring that Momed Atwater Village continues to be an innovative Mediterranean kitchen. With a new chef at the helm, we’ll be working on expanding our catering and events program. We will also continue to develop our superb cocktail and wine list—all in the elegant yet relaxing atmosphere we’ve come to be known for.
We are incredibly grateful to our hardworking employees in Beverly Hills, many of whom have been with us for years and have become family. We are also tremendously thankful to all our guests who have supported us for the past decade—in LA restaurant years, almost a lifetime!
We will end service at Momed Beverly Hills on the evening of Friday, September 13th. We hope to continue serving you in Atwater Village.
With love and much gratitude, Alex Sarkissian.
